Cremation

Cremation has become a popular option for many people because it can be more flexible as to where, when and if you hold a service,  You can keep the urn, scatter the ashes or have the urn buried in a grave or columbarium where we can hold a service. Whether you choose burial or cremation, we’re here to assist you.

  • There are many details to settle the estate,  we include in our service: the cancellation of Old Age/C.P.P benefits, Cancellation of health card, driver's license and passport.  We will assist you with filing the applications for the death benefits from Canada Pension.

    Total Cost:  2313.11 (additional costs may apply for death that occur outside of Huntsville, residential deaths, added merchandise).

Burial Service: 
We can provide direct burial with casket or container, transfer from local hospital, hospice or nursing facility, death registration and documents for burial, transfer to local cemetery, staff  vehicles, and equipment for providing this service. This does not include casket/container, HST, or disbursements.  Included in our service: Cancellation of Old Age/C.P.P. Benefits, cancellations of Health card, Driver's license, Passport and assist with the application of the Canada Pension death benefits.  We provide 6 Proof of death certificates (legal documentations to assist with settling the estate)  

Not included:  burial container/casket, disbursements, cemetery plots, disbursements and tax.

Death Notice/Obituary:
 We will assist you with compiling a unique and individual notice which can be used for notifying friends and family of the death. It is often placed in the local newspaper.  (Additional cost) and it is place on our website free of charge.   
Cost: $100  

Scattering of ashes:
Within city limits and subject to municipal by-laws.
Cost: $75    

Fingerprinting:
This service is for those wishing a copy of the deceased fingerprint, often used for memorial jewellery, tattoos, or other mementos.   
Cost: $25.00
