Obituary of Dora Odokia Jinkerson

Passed peacefully at Fairvern nursing home. Predeceased by her husband Andrew. She is survived by her loving daughters Randa Doskas (Jim) and Jo-Anne McKay (Larry), stepmom to Sherill Reeves (Mark) and foster mom to Howard. Much loved grandmother of Kristen Krecker, Darlene Doskas, Joseph McKay and Ivan McKay, Step grandmother to Chistopher Doskas, Jason Doskas, Stacey Foslette, Stephanie Foslette and Richard Foslette, and great grandmother to 20. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Rita Card, Laura Smith (Rick) and Dave Meldrum (Jen) as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Odokia Meldrum, her sister Margaret Brooker (Gerald), Susie, and sister-in-law Shirley. Dora was a thoughtful and caring person who loved gardening and spending quality time with her family. She loved to travel with her husband and sisters. She will be missed by many. Dora’s wishes were too be cremated and have a private interment at Maplewood Cemetery with a small family gathering at a later date. If you want to attend please contact Randa or Jo-Anne.
